So, recently I started listening to the Warcraft Outsiders podcast. I rolled a toon on their server and joined their guild to talk to them and feel them out for a while. I must say, first off, that they were amazingly
The people in this guild (which boasts around 500 members, but that's alts and everything too) has that amazing "small guild" feel that I was afraid of losing from my last guild when I left. Now, for the record, I still have like 5 toons in that guild and I still talk to them regularly, so I didn't just abandon them. Why did I leave then, you might ask? Simple. My other guild was an RP guild, and I wanted to raid. Good news! They have a raid schedule that I can fit into as well! AWESOME SAUCE. Okay, that may not seem like a big deal, but I work the overnight shift so finding a raid schedule that I can work into is just great.
Guess what this is.. This is a screenshot of something that happened all of 2 or 3 days after I joined the guild. I'm not in the shot, but my guild downed the Lich King for the first time in 10 man.. So, a mad congratulations to them.
Oh that's awesome. My guild is still struggling, in large part because of no attendance. Can't kill stuff if you're not there (simple truth, but oh so true). Awesome that your guild got their kill though, grats to them (and you!) :)
